8-Week Mindfulness Accelerator Program
Welcome! This program is designed to help you stress less, improve your health, and enjoy your life more by giving you maximal benefit in the minimal amount of time. Far from being simply a way to calm yourself or "relax," meditation is a life skill that pays dividends in literally EVERY aspect of your life. By making the practice simple and efficient, and showing you EXACTLY how to apply what you are learning, you will feel empowered to take on whatever challenges life places before you. Whether you are in pain, have a high level of stress, want to help settle and calm your mind, or just want to take a deep, powerful, and efficient dive into learning and applying meditation, this program is for you. All levels of experience, including complete beginners, are welcome.
- Group-based format for participants in any location (web-based format). Participants local to Louisville, Kentucky area may choose to participate in-person.
- We use a weekly videoconference-based format with an additional Q&A session each week.
- A meditation mentor will be assigned to you at the outset of the program who will help deepen your experience, and ensure your specific needs are being met.
- Downloadable guided practices will be provided for your use.
- You will learn time-honored and contemporary practices as well as the real-life context and application of those practices.
- You will learn what stress really is, its negative health effects, and how to actively turn off the stress response, reverse damage, and support healing.
- We will share insights and variations from multiple meditation traditions from the most ancient to the most contemporary.
- In addition to group meeting times, you will be given skills and practices to use in everyday life to help ensure maximal benefit in minimal time.
- Emphasis is placed on meditation as a life skill to reduce stress, improve health, have more satisfactory relationships, and enhance your overall quality of life.

Meditation Teacher Training
Select individuals completing the 8-Week Meditation Accelerator Program will be invited to participate in our one-of-a-kind meditation teacher training. Completion of this program will allow you to incorporate principles and practices you learn into your current profession, allow you to teach meditation in your own home community, OR may even result in your being invited to join our staff of mentors and teachers.
Individual Meditation Instruction
A limited number of positions are available for 1-on-1 meditation instruction with Dr. Pete. This highly individualized training allows for complete customization of your practice and related insights into your exact life.
